A friend of mine gave me two random pilots, and a topic. I then had
to write a comdey with these guidelines.
Bone Yard Fest Part 4 Heero stepped into the dark room. His eyes rested on Wu Fei, who was asleep. The Japanese boy studied him for a moment before walking over to the edge of the bed, picking up a loose pillow, and slamming it on the sleeping figure's head. The Chinese boy woke with a start and glared at his alarm clock. "What's wrong with you Yuy?!" "Get dressed, I have a way to get Trowa out of this." Wu Fei looked at the clock, it was nearly eleven and he had to be at work by five. "Can't it wait until tomorrow?" The groggy Preventer asked and rolled over, keeping his back to Heero. "No." The blankets were ripped from the resting body. "Tomorrow will be too late. We have to do it now." "What do we have to do?" "Get dressed and I'll explain on the way." Wu Fei glared at the Japanese boy closely. "Look, Trowa went through a lot of shit to get these tickets, I think it's time to return the favor." "Don't tell me we're going to break into Archie's house to get them back." "I've already tried that. The tickets aren't anywhere in his house. Though I found out that he's been literally stalking Trowa." "Shouldn't you tell him?" "I will, but first we have to set things right between him and Quatre, or Trowa just might take Archie up on his offer." "So what's the plan?" Wu Fei asked as he started to dress. "A local radio station is having a contest at a bar down town called Jugglers. Ever heard of it?" "No. What kind of contest?" "They didn't really say, but I'm sure between the two of us, we should be able to snag the prize." Wu Fei stopped and studied the Japanese boy in the dim light. "What?" "I don't like the tone in your voice. I have a feeling you know what the contest is. . .you're just not telling." "You callin' me a liar?" "What else do you call people who don't tell the whole true?" "Look, we can argue about this later. Right now we should concentrate on winning those tickets." Heero suggested and lead the way out to his awaiting car. "How many are up for grabs?" Wu Fei wondered as he climbed into the passenger seat and Heero took the wheel. "Just two. There's only one winner." "So, what are you planning to do? Take Sally's niece yourself?" "No. No matter which of us win, Sally's niece and her boyfriend can have them." "What?!?" "If it helps bring Trowa and Quatre back together, then I'm willing to sacrifice the tickets." "I can't believe you just said that. Especially since this is all your fault in the first place." "You were part to blame too. . .but seeing Trowa mope around my apartment for the pass two weeks is worse than missing Bone Yard." "Winner was wrong about you. . .you are a good friend Yuy." "Yeah. Unfortunately, good friends miss Bone Yard." Wu Fei reached for the radio, and turned it on. "What station is it that's having the contest. Maybe they released new information on it." "I don't even remember what station it was." Heero answered quickly and kept his eyes to the road. "How can you not know which one it was?" "I was just channel surfing." "You never channel surf. It has to be. . ." Wu Fei turned his attention to the radio. It was on 101.7. It was Heero's favorite rock station, that was known for it's perverted contests for top prizes. "Yuy, what is the contest?" "Does it matter?" "Yes." "So you're basing Trowa's friendship on the type of contest?" "You sound sneaky." "Fine, it's a two man contest. One for trivia and the other for stripping." "Stri-! Yuy, I am not stripping!" "Well you don't know shit about Bone Yard." "Where's Maxwell? Can't he do that? I'm sure he would get more enjoyment out of such things. . .and he would win." "Duo's gone for the night. He hops too many bars in one night and it'll take too long to track him down. The contest is over at one." "I'm going to be sick." "Come on, you can do this. Where's that arrogance that made you famous?" "Shut up!" "You're saying Trowa's not worth it? You're telling me that you rather have him stuck next to Archie for a whole evening just because you're too afraid to stand up to Sally? We might not ever see him again after the concert." "First off, I'm not afraid of Sally. Secondly, I don't like to see him like this any more than you do. . ." "Then do something. Be a man. Strip." "I'm going to need a lot of drinks." Wu Fei announced and slumped into his seat. ~ * ~ Chapter
